What makes Hello Kitty Special to Women?

Hello Kitty legacy is passed on the next genre

When sanrio was introduced in the Philippines during my school days. Hello Kitty was my favorite character that time and most of its items are color red. Never in my dream did it come to my mind that I will be passing it to my daughter and she would also be a HK fan.

Mother usually is the model of their children in what they do and having a daugther is a challenging task, since there are needs that only Mom and daughter would understand. Like having her first monthly period, you have to teach her the proper way of putting the napkin on the underwear, when to change and always be cautious of the stain.

I personally tried different brand and sometimes my choice doesn't satisfy her. I'm so glad that softex created a product that can bring back many childhood memories. Now she has her choice of brand because she felt comfortable at the same time enjoy the design. Upon trying it i felt the absorbency of the pads and the comfy effect while using. The thickness of the pads is just right for heavy flows and regular days. Good thing therebis also a pantyliner that you can use everyday.
Since having a monthly period is the start of teen-adulthood  in a girl.  From baby to Lady.

Di Na Muli Official Music Video

Di Na Muli was written in 2016 by long-time friends Jazz Nicolas and Wally Acolola. They entered the song into the 5th Philippine Popular (PhilPop) Music Festival, performed by The Itchyworms, where it won the grand prize. Now, in 2018, the song has been given new life in the official soundtrack of the hit film Sid & Aya (Not A Love Story) (Viva Films, starring Dingdong Dantes and Anne Curtis, directed by Irene Villamor).

Somewhere in between PhilPop and Sid & Aya, the Itchyworms set out to immortalize the song in the perfect music video. Help came along in the form of director Juno Oebanda, longtime friend of the band, and the generous indulgence of none other than the Cultural Center of the Philippines. The link to the CCP is Teddy Hilado (d. 2015), recognized as the father of lighting design in Philippine theater, who is also the uncle of Oebanda.  The song's themes of love, loss, and words left unspoken, are embodied in the elegant performances of Rosky Balahadia Hilado (Teddy's widow, formerly of the Bayanihan Philippine Dance Company) and Carissa Adea (Ballet Philippines), and in the video's sweeping visuals, all captured within the hallowed halls of the CCP. The music video seeks to serve as loving tribute to Teddy, whose influence is still felt and recognized to this day.  The Itchyworms are now proud to share what is probably the first-ever music video shot inside the Cultural Center of the Philippines, and extend heartfelt thanks to those who helped bring the music video to fruition.  Youtube link for Di Na Muli official music video: https://youtu.be/rgHHJkzn5TU

Di Na Muli
Words and Music by Jazz Nicolas and Wally Acolola
Performed by The Itchyworms

Verse:
Nung araw kay tamis ng ating buhay
Puno ng saya at ng kulay
Di mauulit muli

Ang oras kapag hinayaang lumipas
Madarama mo hanggang bukas
Di mababawi muli

Chorus:

Patawad muli
Di na muli

Binawi buhay mo ng walang sabi
Binubulong ko sa sarili
Mahal kita hanggang sa huli
Mahal ko hanggang sa huli

FoodPanda goes Pink

Foodpanda embarks on a new chapter in its brand evolution and unveils a fresh new look and exciting features

Manila, 19 October 2017 – foodpanda, the on-demand international food delivery service, is getting a fresh new look across its markets, offering its customers a new visual identity to accompany its renowned service standards and vision to deliver good food into people's everyday.

The brand’s enhanced look and feel is set to create value and impact in the fast-growing food delivery industry, specifically with its new outstanding pink color. The panda, an iconic brand symbol, will remain at the forefront, but has been tweaked into a rounder, more modern version. The use of a simplified shape in terms of color and line weight has also come into place, while keeping the friendliness and enhancing the memorability of the logo. In addition, the font has been updated to be more contemporary, in line with the brand’s new direction.
“We are very excited to deploy our refreshed brand image and spread our new signature pink color across our markets. This marks the beginning of a new era and enables us to further stand out in the streets of the cities we cover.” says Julian Dames, Global CMO at foodpanda.
No matter the craving or price range, foodpanda opens all of its cities up to an exciting world of flavors – only now, it will do so with a new distinctive pink color. The foodpanda app and websites are introducing an improved user-friendly interface and design, as well as several new features. Customers will now be able to receive dynamic delivery times which take into account dish preparation, rider availability and time to reach their desired location, down to the last minute. In addition, foodpanda has also introduced a live tracking feature, which would allow customers to watch in real time, as their orders make their way from their favorite restaurants right to their doorstep, hassle free!

The rider equipment and in-restaurant material will also incorporate the new design and logo, without any service quality changes for customers or partner restaurants.

“We took the refreshed design as an opportunity to improve our visibility and also provide even more safety to the riders. Not only are uniforms eye-catching with the pink color, but rider jackets are also lightweight and water resistant. We have also added reflective material in different parts of the rider uniform, that will be more noticeable to others on the road. This combination of style and safety will ensure being noticed on the street, and will also allow riders to enjoy wearing them while staying safe.” adds Dames.

Obesity and Lesofat

FB_IMG_1472812560872
People in our society nowadays are health conscious that’s why eatablishments like gym, healthy food delivery, restaurant and home grown veggies are so much in. Even retirees buy farm so they can have a place to retire and relax. But if you ask people most of them wants to lose weight not most people can exercise because of work and healthy food is a lot expensive than fastfood. Because of that, there are a lot of obese people in this generation and the baby boomer is into healthy living..
How to spot Obesity
Obesity is described as a medical condition in which your body fat has accumulated to the point that it may have an adverse effect on your health. Obesity is ruled when you have a Body Mass Index (BMI) higher than 25. A normal BMI should be from 18.5 to 24.9. Know your BMI by following the formula of weight divided by height
Philippine Obesity Scene
In a 2011 survey, it shows that 22.3% of Filipinos adults are overweight and 6.1% are obese. Philippines is on top of the list together with India as countries with the highest obese population according to a report from United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
Another survey by Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI) also shows that 3 out of 10 Filipinos are obese which shows an alarming statistics.
Sustaining Activities
In trying to lose weight, we cannot rely on supplements alone. Choosing the right diet coupled with physical activities should be maintained to achieve your desired weight. Many are quick to blame inefficiency of a product due to their own lethargy, supplements are not magic potions which can transform your body without having to exert any effort.
Treating Obesity
Innogen Pharma brings to you two products that will help you with your Journey to Wellness. Innogen Pharma realizes the need to complement Filipino craving for High-Fat and High Carbo diet.

Cindy Patrimonio’s Weight Loss Story
Cindy Patrimonio, wife of celebrity cager Alvin Patrimonio was quick to admit being guilty of Yoyo dieting in her younger days. She would compensate eating her favourite food by spending time at the gym. Working out neutralizes her food intake thus she often rely on her physical activity to maintain her ideal weight.
Problem came when Cindy reached the age where metabolisms slows down drastically, she finds herself not being in control of her weight gain. Caught in harsh criticism of the public, Cindy couldn’t care less as she is only accountable for her own body. Realization only came at the time when she decided that she needs to be healthy for her own sake and her family. This was her turning point.
Cindy quips, I decided I needed to change and start to get healthy last year. I was feeling sluggish, feeling bad about how I looked. Being overweight for 16 years was long enough. I wanted to do it in a healthy and sturdy way. I was also feeling depressed mentally because of certain problems in life and I wanted to divert all that negative energy into something that would be a challenge for me.
Cindy’s biggest challenge was cutting back on her food intake as this is something new to her. She watched a lot of videos and research and soon as she got the hang of it, it was as easy as cooking pancakes according to Cindy.
Another challenge for weight lost is when you run into a plateau, this is common among women and having to level up one’s fitness activity level should be continuous. Lucky for Cindy, Alvin is all out in supporting her and would often find himself accompanying her every now and then during her work out sessions.
Marielle Mamaclay’s Journey to Weight Loss
Singing out to a lighter figure nowadays is World Videoke champion Marielle Mamaclay. Being a performer, one has to look presentable. Thus, when Marielle reached her heaviest weight and started to lose confidence, she felt ugly and cried a lot.
Marielle’s weight problem also took a toll on her health, she found herself getting sick almost every month. This was her wake up call. She still have big dreams for her family and could not let herself go down in spiral due to her weight problem.
She started a healthy diet and increased her physical activity. Weight loss would not be effective if you feel deprived. Thus, Marielle gives herself cheat days, giving in to her cravings of Pizza every once in a while.
Having cheat days are important in keeping up with weight loss struggles as it gives you the much needed balance. Both Cindy and Marielle credit their weight loss journey with the help of LesoFat and LesoCarb. It’s always better to #BeArmedwithLesofat and #ThinkLesocarb.
